We'll be publishing The Cola Pop Creemees: Opening Act in April 2023 (keep your eyes peeled for the crowdfunding campaign in January or February). In addition to whetting your appetite with LEFTY (published last summer), Desmond wanted to give all backers of this 2022 campaign access to another Cola Pop Creemes story, APPLES!

Happy to report that all rewards have now shipped (except for the three that I'm handing off to locals)! If you haven't received your goods or a notice that it has shipped, it's most likely because you haven't filled out your survey. If you're having any trouble, please do get in touch and we'll figure it out.
I sincerely hope you're enjoying all the 2022 publications. If any of them have a positive impact, please leave a review on Goodreads.com, post about it on social media (and tag us!), or tell a friend. We don't have an advertising budget, so word of mouth is what it's all about!
I always have fun recording the instrumental music playing behind the voiceovers in the crowdfunding videos, so I collected all the ones I could find (some are lost to the sands of time and the ones & zeroes) and put them up on Bandcamp. I keep most of my old 4-track recordings from the time when I had free time on Soundcloud, but I guess I ran out of free storage space there. Honestly, that stuff is pretty awful.
Not to make this all about ME, but in an effort to separate my personal comics and drawings from the BBB page, I've started a separate Instagram account: @yost_posts. Right now I'm posting a bunch of old weird celebrity-studded dream comics I drew back in 2010, mostly because it easily fits the IG square format, and because I let it go out of print ages ago. There's dreams with Snoop Dogg, Roseanne Barr, Dick Cheney, Arnold Schwartzenegger, and Henry Rollins, so things get weird.
Here's a 30-second self-portrait I drew for the new IG account profile pic because I'm too lazy to go take a photo of the rest of the outgoing packages. Thanks again, all you comic loving nutbags!
Shipping Update + Tools of The Trade

Hello beloved backers,
Buried in boxes
I've been shipping out our fall releases (ABYSMALATION, YESTERDAY, MISFORTUNE) to those who backed our 2022 Kickstarter campaign. At some point, I realized that some of those who backed this campaign also backed the Crowdfundr campaign, so I figured it would make sense to include both in the same package. SO, that's what I've been doing.
It takes me about an hour to assemble and trim 25 Spaced Out Inner Galactic Beings, so I've been ducking into the RisoLab whenever I can to use their saddle-stitch stapler and stack cutter. LEFTY is much quicker, so I've got a healthy stack of those finished and ready to ship.
I am prioritizing the Kickstarter shipments since they came out in September, but I see the light at the end of the tunnel (I've got less than 50 packages left to ship). Then my focus will shift to getting the Crowdfundr packages out. They're much less labor intensive (since there's only two products), so those will go out quickly. If you missed the Crowdfundr campaign, you can now order these two bonus publications through our website (just click the linked titles above)!
Here's a little video I made showing some of the Tools of The Trade when it comes to the assembling (not printing) of these risograph comics. Thanks again, everyone!
The comics are coming! Plus, bonus riso comics for the summer.

Hi beloved backers!
We hit a bump in the road with Brother Malcolm's YESTERDAY: Diary Comix in that the printer didn't get the paper we'd requested in time to print and deliver the books for their debut at SPX this weekend. While not unexpected (the supply-chain backup from the pandemic continues to throw wrenches), it is incredibly disappointing. The books are expected to ship out from the printer on September 23rd, however.
Everything else is on schedule (Abysmalation and Misfortune should arrive on Wednesday). I will begin shipping rewards that don't include YESTERDAY immediately after SPX (so, September 20th) and all rewards once I have those. I'm so excited for you all to see these comics, riso prints, riso zines, etc.!
We weren't planning on publishing anything else this year, but we just couldn't resist two compelling comics submitted from BBB alumni Robert H. Stevenson and future BBB alumni (we're publishing his first The Cola Pop Creemees graphic novel next April!) Desmond Reed. Sooooooo, we've got aCrowdfundr campaign up now for these beauties:
LEFTY, Spaced Out Inner Galactic Beings, and more

Hello,
We should have the last three books of the 2022 slate coming in early September, so keep an eye on your mailboxes!
In the meantime, we want to try out a new crowdfunding platform (Crowdfundr) that was made with creators and publishers in mind (and without the blockchain shenanigan baggage of Kickstarter). To test it out, we're publishing two new risograph minis.
If you liked Robert H. Stevenson's "Comfort Creatures", you'll want to check out "Spaced Out Inner Galactic Beings", also full of strange rhymes integrated into psychedelic imagery. To do this one justice, we're printing the whole thing on risograph in gold metallic ink on black paper as an oversized 8.5" x 11" saddle-stitched comic!
In anticipation of next year's The Cola Pop Creemees graphic novel by Desmond Reed, we're publishing LEFTY featuring a spin-off story about Mona Gertrude's struggles with mental (& physical) illness drawn with Desmond's non-dominant hand after an injury to his drawing hand!
We're hoping to run the Crowdfundr campaign in August. If it works well, we'll be splitting our publications into two seasons (Spring and Fall) rather than one annual campaign. Hopefully this will make everyone's life easier!
Below are a few sample pages from these upcoming comics. Thanks again for your support!
