We'll be publishing The Cola Pop Creemees: Opening Act in April 2023 (keep your eyes peeled for the crowdfunding campaign in January or February). In addition to whetting your appetite with LEFTY (published last summer), Desmond wanted to give all backers of this 2022 campaign access to another Cola Pop Creemes story, APPLES!

Click on this link to read it. Thanks again for your support!

Everything has shipped + listen to the KS soundtrack!

Happy to report that all rewards have now shipped (except for the three that I'm handing off to locals)! If you haven't received your goods or a notice that it has shipped, it's most likely because you haven't filled out your survey. If you're having any trouble, please do get in touch and we'll figure it out.

I sincerely hope you're enjoying all the 2022 publications. If any of them have a positive impact, please leave a review on Goodreads.com, post about it on social media (and tag us!), or tell a friend. We don't have an advertising budget, so word of mouth is what it's all about!

I always have fun recording the instrumental music playing behind the voiceovers in the crowdfunding videos, so I collected all the ones I could find (some are lost to the sands of time and the ones & zeroes) and put them up on Bandcamp. I keep most of my old 4-track recordings from the time when I had free time on Soundcloud, but I guess I ran out of free storage space there. Honestly, that stuff is pretty awful.

Not to make this all about ME, but in an effort to separate my personal comics and drawings from the BBB page, I've started a separate Instagram account: @yost_posts. Right now I'm posting a bunch of old weird celebrity-studded dream comics I drew back in 2010, mostly because it easily fits the IG square format, and because I let it go out of print ages ago. There's dreams with Snoop Dogg, Roseanne Barr, Dick Cheney, Arnold Schwartzenegger, and Henry Rollins, so things get weird.

Here's a 30-second self-portrait I drew for the new IG account profile pic because I'm too lazy to go take a photo of the rest of the outgoing packages. Thanks again, all you comic loving nutbags!

Shipping Update + Tools of The Trade
over 1 year ago – Mon, Oct 24, 2022 at 06:50:23 AM

Hello beloved backers,

Buried in boxes

I've been shipping out our fall releases (ABYSMALATION, YESTERDAY, MISFORTUNE) to those who backed our 2022 Kickstarter campaign. At some point, I realized that some of those who backed this campaign also backed the Crowdfundr campaign, so I figured it would make sense to include both in the same package. SO, that's what I've been doing.

It takes me about an hour to assemble and trim 25 Spaced Out Inner Galactic Beings, so I've been ducking into the RisoLab whenever I can to use their saddle-stitch stapler and stack cutter. LEFTY is much quicker, so I've got a healthy stack of those finished and ready to ship.

I am prioritizing the Kickstarter shipments since they came out in September, but I see the light at the end of the tunnel (I've got less than 50 packages left to ship). Then my focus will shift to getting the Crowdfundr packages out. They're much less labor intensive (since there's only two products), so those will go out quickly. If you missed the Crowdfundr campaign, you can now order these two bonus publications through our website (just click the linked titles above)!

Here's a little video I made showing some of the Tools of The Trade when it comes to the assembling (not printing) of these risograph comics. Thanks again, everyone!
